Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg pork, from the neck, or poultry fillet
- ½ tube(s) tomato paste
- 1 cup of cream
- 1 cup crème fraîche
- 200 g cheese, for gratinating
- Spice mix (gyros spice)
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Cut the meat into small strips or pieces and season generously with gyro seasoning. Fry in a large pot until crispy. All the water must be evaporated; drain if necessary. Mix the crème fraîche, tomato paste, and cream until thickened. Add the mixture to the cooked meat and mix well. Place the meat in a baking dish, sprinkle with grated cheese, and bake in the oven at 200°C until the cheese has melted. Serve with rice or flatbread.
