Sesame sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • ½ lemon(s), juice
  • 50 g sesame seeds
  • 100 ml water, possibly more
  • salt and pepper
  • coriander
  • cumin
  • possibly olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

A vegan sesame sauce made with just a few ingredients that goes well with seitan, but also with noodles.

Grind the sesame seeds with a hand blender for about 2 minutes. Now add the lemon juice and water and blend until well blended. If the sauce isn’t quite thick enough, you can carefully add a little more water or olive oil as needed. Finally, season to taste. Add more spices if desired. Tip: It also tastes great with finely chopped fresh herbs. It would also be great served sweet with fruit.
