Emily's pears with Gorgonzola

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pear(s)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 350 ml cream
  • 250g Gorgonzola
  • 50 ml white wine

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Peel the pears, remove the cores, and cut into bite-sized pieces. Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the pears, and fry. Then pour in half of the cream and simmer for about 5 minutes. Add the remaining cream and the white wine and bring to a boil. Crumble the Gorgonzola, add it to the cream, and melt it. Season the sauce with salt and pepper, ladle into bowls, and serve.
