Emmental cheese salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g cheese (Emmental)
  • 100 g sausage (hard sausage)
  • ½ cucumber(s)
  • 2 tbsp vinegar (herb vinegar)
  • 1 tsp mustard, hot
  • 6 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp dill, finely chopped
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • Salt and pepper, black
  • 100 g cooked ham

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Dinner salad or party salad

Cut the Emmental cheese, sausage, and ham into thin strips. Wash the cucumber thoroughly, then slice or grate it unpeeled into thin slices. Mix the salad ingredients together in a bowl. For the marinade, combine the herb vinegar with mustard, salt, pepper, and sugar. Gradually whisk in the oil. Pour the marinade over the salad and mix everything gently. Cover and let stand for about 30 minutes. Just before serving, stir the chopped dill into the finished salad. Season to taste and garnish with dill.
