Endive salad with mushrooms and dried meat

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 endive salad
  • 2 cans of mushrooms
  • 250 g dried meat
  • Vinegar
  • oil
  • salt and pepper
  • possibly Maggi
  • 2 tbsp oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Clean, wash, and finely chop the lettuce. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan and add the mushrooms. After about 5 minutes, add the dried beef and fry. In the meantime, dry the lettuce and prepare the dressing with the spices and oil. Being from Saarland, I always use Maggi seasoning, but you don’t have to. Now toss the lettuce with the dressing and divide it among the plates. Once the mushrooms and dried beef are thoroughly cooked, you can scatter them over the salad and serve immediately. I serve them with either fried potatoes or baked potatoes. I then place them around the salad.
