Energy Balls

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 15 dates
  • some water, warm
  • 40 g baking cocoa
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 60 g peanuts, salted
  • 70 g sunflower seeds
  • e.g. almonds, ground or baking cocoa

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

You can find the recipe here: First, soak the dates in warm water for 15 minutes. Then, add the remaining ingredients to a blender (if using a stand mixer, add the dry ingredients first and then add the dates and 2 tablespoons of the soaking water, as it takes a while for the mixture to combine and become creamy. Alternatively, a hand blender is recommended). Once the dates are soaked, add them to the blender along with 2 tablespoons of the water in which the dates were soaked. Then blend for 4-5 minutes until a creamy mixture forms. Using a small ice cream scoop (4 cm), and preferably wearing gloves, roll out 12 balls, place them on a baking sheet containing the ingredient you want to use, and roll the balls in the mixture.
