Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g butter or margarine
  • 100 g sugar
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp vanilla, ground
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 150 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp coffee powder (espresso powder, instant)
  • 100 g almond(s), chopped
  • 50 g white chocolate coating
  • 50 g semi-sweet chocolate coating
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Beat the softened butter with the sugars until fluffy. Add the salt, vanilla, and egg; continue beating. Combine the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and espresso powder; stir into the batter. Finally, fold in the almonds and coarsely chopped chocolate coating. Chill for at least 20 minutes. Then form into walnut-sized balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving plenty of space between each ball. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (160°C fan/convection oven) for about 12-15 minutes.
