Espresso Crispy Waffles …
The perfect espresso crispy waffles … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 220 g Flour
- 100 g Powdered sugar
- 125 g Skinned and ground almonds
- 1 Vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 Egg
- 2 Egg yolk
- 65 g Branded butter
- 65 g Margarine
- 2 teaspoon Instant espresso powder
- 2 tablespoon Rum
- Prepare a kneading dough from the ingredients and wrap it in foil and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least two hours. Preheat a cinnamon waffle iron on the lowest setting.
- Cut the dough into four equal pieces and then shape about 25 pieces from each part and roll them into small balls between your hands. Place the pellets, flattened a little, in the preheated waffle iron and bake into golden-brown, aromatic waffles.
- These waffles are very crispy and we like to enjoy them with a good cup of coffee.
- I came up with the recipe myself because I found it regrettable to have such a beautiful waffle iron and only be able to use it for one recipe (cinnamon waffles). After searching, I couldn’t find any other recipes for it and then came up with the espresso crispy waffles for it.
