Evening porridge fruit dream

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 50 g strawberries, fresh or frozen
  • 30 g raspberries, fresh or frozen
  • 20 g berries (berry mix), small, fresh or frozen
  • 50 g banana(s)
  • 25 g oat flakes
  • 250 ml milk
  • 5 g butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

also possible in winter

Place the berries in a saucepan with the oats and milk. Heat everything together and simmer for two minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent the milk from burning. Add the butter. Pour the heated mixture into a bowl and puree, then add the bananas and puree. This yields a total of about 340g of porridge. Notes: I refrigerate leftover porridge. As the porridge cools, it becomes a little firmer. Sometimes I make double the batch, refrigerate some, and serve it with a dollop of yogurt for breakfast. I also like to make berry porridge in the winter for a bit of fruit variety. I keep a pack each of frozen strawberries, raspberries, and mixed berries in the freezer.
