Extra fine chocolate cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 180 g butter
  • 150 g powdered sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 150 g sugar
  • 180 g chocolate (cooking chocolate)
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 180 g flour, smooth (W 700)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Preheat oven to 190 degrees Celsius (375 degrees Fahrenheit). Separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites with the sugar until stiff peaks form. Cream the butter and powdered sugar until fluffy. Melt the chocolate and stir in gently. Stir in the vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt. Gradually add the egg yolks. Alternately stir in the flour and 1/3 of the egg white mixture. Fold in the remaining egg whites. Spread the mixture into a greased pan and bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes. Then reduce the heat to 160 degrees Celsius (320 degrees Fahrenheit) and bake for about another 40 minutes.
