Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g spaghetti or other pasta
  • salt water
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp, heaped sambal oelek
  • 2 tbsp herbs (e.g. parsley, basil, oregano)
  • salt and pepper
  • possibly Parmesan

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

with sambal oelek

Cook the pasta in salted water. Meanwhile, finely chop the garlic and herbs and sauté them in olive oil over low heat (about 5 minutes, do not brown). Then add the sambal oelek and fry briefly. Toss the cooked pasta in the oil, season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve immediately (with Parmesan cheese, if desired).
