Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g pasta
- 1 ring/s poultry sausage
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 pack of tomatoes, pureed
- olive oil
- basil
- salt and pepper
- Sugar
- some cheese, grated
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Meanwhile, peel and dice the onions and cut the sausage into small cubes. Heat the oil in a pan, sauté the onions until translucent, and then fry the sausage briefly. Add the passata to the pot and bring to a boil, add a little water, and season to taste. Remove the pot from the heat and puree everything until smooth. Add the basil, if desired. Drain the pasta in a colander. Transfer the pasta to deep bowls, spoon the sauce over the top, and sprinkle with cheese to serve hot. If you like, you can also add carrots, peas, and other vegetables to the sauce.
