Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 350 ml milk (3.5% fat)
  • 260 ml cream
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 60 g sugar
  • 50 g cream powder or pudding powder (vanilla flavor)
  • 3 drops of vanilla flavor
  • 20 g dark chocolate coating
  • 1 cake base (Viennese base)
  • n. B. Cream (buttercream) of your choice

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Cut the Viennese layer in half. Melt the chocolate coating. Combine the milk and cream in a saucepan. Whisk the egg yolks, sugar, pudding powder, and flavoring with 4-5 tablespoons of the milk and cream mixture until smooth. Bring the milk and cream mixture to a boil. Stir in the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil again. Spread half of the cream on the first layer and smooth it down. Place the second layer on top. Stir the melted dark chocolate coating into the other half of the pudding. Spread it on the layer, smooth it down, and place the last layer on top. Cool thoroughly and allow to set. Then cover with buttercream and garnish as desired.
