Chickpea balls, defused, fried or baked in the oven, super tasty and healthy
Drain the canned chickpeas in a colander. Combine the ingredients in a blender. If you don’t have a blender, you can also mash the chickpeas with a fork and mix them with the finely chopped vegetables and herbs. Season the mixture to taste and add salt and pepper if desired. Form the mixture into small balls. Deep-fry in hot oil or brush with water and bake in the oven at 180°C for about 15-20 minutes. They taste juicier deep-fried, of course, but I also like them baked with a light herb curd for salad.
