Ingredients for 16 servings:
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 cups flour
- 1 cup(s) oil
- 1 cup(s) lemonade (Fanta)
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 packet of baking powder
- possibly chocolate sprinkles
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
with variations for young and old
First, mix the eggs, sugar, and vanilla sugar together until frothy. Then add the oil and Fanta. Finally, add the baking powder to the flour and mix everything together until a smooth batter forms. If you like, you can also add chocolate sprinkles (about 4 tablespoons). Spread the batter on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake at 220°C for about 20 minutes. [ 1. Variation: For adults or a party, you can replace the Fanta with sparkling wine, but then it’s better not to add the sprinkles. 2. Variation: When the cake is cold, you can add a chocolate glaze to the cake. But it tastes super moist and delicious even without sprinkles and glaze! ]
