Fantasy Cookies
The perfect fantasy cookies recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 250 g Wheat flour 405
- 175 g Butter
- 1 Egg yolk
- 40 g Raw cane sugar
- 2 tbsp Creme fraiche Cheese
- Spice mixes (various) according to taste
- Or
- 50 g Raw cane sugar
- 0,5 tsp Ground cinnamon
- Take a bowl and add the wheat flour, butter, egg yolk and raw cane sugar and knead into a dough. Then add the creme frâiche and knead until it becomes a smooth dough. Then press flat, place on a piece of cling film, wrap.
- Place in the fridge and let rest for 30 minutes so that it can be rolled out more easily afterwards. Then place on a floured mat, roll out the dough. Now take cookie cutters that you like (with me smileys & bikes) and use them to cut out your cookies.
- Repeat this until there is no more dough left. Place what has previously been covered with baking paper on a baking sheet. Now you have the choice – you can mix raw cane sugar with cinnamon or use one or more spice mixtures. I had one with: tonka bean; Elbsand-; Cinnamon-orange-chocolate and dream blossom sugar. Generously sprinkle the cut out cookies with it.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees top / bottom heat. Then put in the oven and bake for about 15 minutes. Remove from the tray and let cool down completely and then pack airtight.
