Farmer’s Pot

The perfect farmer’s pot recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • 1 Shallot
  • 1 Rapeseed oil
  • 1 Snack peppers, yellow
  • 2 Potatoes
  • 1 Can Tomato pieces
  • Salt, gourmet pepper
  • 300 g Mett, seasoned
  • 130 ml Water
  • 1 tbsp *Gemüsesalz aus Resten

Farmer’s Pot

  1. Peel the garlic clove and shallot and place in a lightning chopper, chop. Snack – cut the peppers open, remove the seeds and cut into large pieces. Peel and roughly dice the potatoes. Take a saucepan and heat the rapeseed oil in it.
  2. Add finely chopped food and steam. Add seasoned mince and fry until crumbly. Pepper a little and then pour in the coarse pepper pieces together with the potato cubes. Stir and deglaze with water. Add the chunky tomatoes and season with vegetable salt.
  3. Mix again and bring to a boil. Then switch it down and let it cook for 20 minutes. Then fill into deep plates and serve immediately.
