Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g dark chocolate
  • 200 g butter
  • 100 g flour
  • 200 g sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 6 eggs
  • 200 g walnuts or pecans, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a 40 x 40 cm baking pan or casserole dish with baking paper. Melt the chocolate and butter together. Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and melted chocolate in a bowl. Stir in the eggs and nuts and pour the batter into the baking pan. Bake for about 25-30 minutes. Let cool briefly and then cut into cubes. The brownies will keep for about a week if stored in an airtight container. I’ve been baking them in a muffin tin for a while now; this batter yields exactly 14.
