Favorite quark with boiled potatoes

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g curd cheese, 20%
  • 500 g curd cheese, 40%
  • Milk or cream
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 bunch of chives and/or spring onions
  • 1 bunch of dill
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • some oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

no low-fat curd cheese

Combine the two types of quark in a bowl and mix together, adding enough milk and/or cream until the desired consistency is reached. The quark should be nice and smooth. Then season generously with salt and pepper. Finely chop the herbs and stir in. Stir in a little oil until smooth, giving the quark a glossy shine. Info: You can use sunflower oil, rapeseed oil, olive oil, or linseed oil. We usually use sunflower oil because we serve linseed oil separately with the quark and boiled potatoes. I use spring onions that are still as fine as chives. If you can’t find those, you can use chives and the white part of the spring onions.
