Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 slice(s) toast bread, wholemeal or wheat, nB
- 16 slices of salami
- 1 ball of mozzarella, sliced
- 4 slices of cheese (butter cheese)
- 4 tsp garlic (diced garlic), marinated in chili oil
- e.g. ketchup (spice)
- n. B. herb butter
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Preheat oven to 200°C fan/convection oven. Spread the toast slices with herb butter. Top with the salami, spread a teaspoon of diced garlic on each slice, and drizzle with a small dollop of spiced ketchup. Top each slice with a slice of butter cheese and two slices of mozzarella. Place the toast slices on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes. Let them cool for 5 minutes before eating—this is when they taste best.
