Feta bread

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 1 m.-sized eggs
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 20 g milk
  • 20 g butter
  • 1 pinch(s) salt
  • 180 g sheep’s cheese

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

suitable for people allergic to cow’s milk

First, melt the butter. Knead the flour, egg, baking powder, salt, milk, and butter into a tough dough. If the dough is too dry, you can add more milk until it reaches the right consistency. Once the dough is ready, crumble the feta cheese into the dough and knead it into the dough by hand. Pour the finished dough into a greased loaf pan and bake at 180°C for about 30 minutes using the fan-assisted oven. After 30 minutes, pierce the bread with a fork or wooden skewer. If the bread isn’t cooked through, increase the baking time until the dough no longer sticks. I use vegan butter and rice milk for the dough.
