Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 slice(s) feta cheese
- 5 sheets of pasta (phyllo pastry)
- 2 tbsp honey, liquid
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- olive oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Souvenirs from your holiday in Greece
Remove the filo pastry from the package and remove about 5 sheets. Place the feta on the sheets and wrap them neatly, like a gift. Heat plenty of olive oil in a pan, not too hot, and fry the feta in the pastry until golden brown on all sides. Then place the feta on a paper towel to absorb some of the fat. Pour the honey over it on a plate and sprinkle the sesame seeds on top. Enjoy while it’s still warm. I discovered this on my last vacation in Greece. Serve with a Greek salad and fresh white bread!
