Feta cheese snail

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 roll of (to taste) dough from the refrigerated section
  • 200 g feta cheese, alternatively sheep cheese
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • salt and pepper
  • 8 Pepper, pickled, mild, hot or medium hot
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

quick and easy

Crumble the feta cheese and mix with the sour cream, mashing the mixture with a fork. Cut the pepperoni into small slices and mix into the feta cream. Season with salt and pepper. Roll out the puff pastry and spread evenly with the feta cream. Roll the puff pastry lengthwise into a log. Place the puff pastry on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, forming a snail shape. Beat the egg and brush it over the puff pastry. Finally, scatter sesame seeds over the top. Bake the snail in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for about 20 minutes, depending on the package instructions for the puff pastry.
