Feta cream with chili and tomatoes

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 500 g feta cheese
  • 8 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 1 tbsp thyme
  • 3 tbsp basil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Coarsely grate the feta cheese, briefly freezing it beforehand if necessary. Finely chop the garlic. Simply mix all ingredients thoroughly until the tomato paste no longer leaves streaks. The amount of oil can vary; use enough to create a smooth paste. It can be eaten immediately and will keep for a few days in the refrigerator. It tastes best on freshly grilled bread, rolls, or ciabatta, and with grilled food.
