Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 large bratwurst
- 1 piece(s) feta cheese (length of sausage x 1 cm)
- 1 tsp, strained mustard, medium hot
- 1 tsp, sautéed marjoram
- a little chili powder or chili flakes
- 1 tsp, sautéed chia seeds, optional
- some garlic or chives

Low carb, from the oven, also a party hit
Preheat the oven to 180°C fan/convection oven. Cut deep cuts into the sausage lengthwise, leaving the ends intact, until about 1 cm before the end. Spread the mustard into this pocket and distribute the marjoram evenly over it. Place the feta cheese in the pocket and press down lightly. Spread the chili sparingly over it and sprinkle with the chia seeds. Place in the oven and bake for about 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with garlic. Serve with salad or vegetables, such as savoy cabbage, for a low-carb meal. Not low-carb: other side dishes such as mashed potatoes, baguette, or rice are also very suitable.
