Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 tsp oil
- 2 chicken breast fillets
- ½ tsp coarse salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 200 ml barbecue sauce
- 1 pack of tortilla chips
- 200 g grated cheese, e.g. Gouda, Cheddar
- ½ onion(s), red, diced
- 1 tomato(s), diced
- 8 slice(s) ham, diced
- 2 tsp parsley, chopped
- 120 ml sour cream
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Cut the chicken breast fillets into cubes. Heat the oil in a pan until very hot. First, brown the chicken breast cubes, then add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and chili powder. Stir well. Add the barbecue sauce and simmer for 5 minutes. In a deep frying pan, spread two handfuls of tortilla chips and top with half of the marinated chicken. Sprinkle with cheese, onion, tomato, ham, and parsley. Repeat the process. Bake at 175°C (350°F) for 15 minutes. Serve with sour cream.
