Fiery garlic rolls

Spread the love

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 20 rolls
  • 20 slice(s) salami, pepper or pepper
  • 3 onions
  • 3 packs of garlic butter/herb butter
  • 6 tomatoes
  • Paprika powder, sweet and hot

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Halve the roll and spread butter on both halves. Top one roll with salami. Slice the tomatoes and cut the onions into rings. Place a slice of tomato and some onion rings on the filled half of the roll. Season with paprika to taste. Put the roll halves back together, wrap them in aluminum foil and put them in the oven. Bake at 180°C (top and bottom heat) for 20 minutes, or 160°C (fan oven), middle rack. It’s great for game nights or as a midnight snack. I also like to use a side of herb butter and garlic butter; for something spicier, I use the new Mexican butter and a touch of cayenne pepper. It also works perfectly in a sandwich toaster with toast for a quick snack.
