Fig and Chocolate Fruit Balls

The perfect fig and chocolate fruit balls recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 125 g Fig paste from the organic shop
  • 125 g Roasted ground almonds
  • 50 g Dark or whole milk chocolate droplets
  • 50 g Desiccated coconut
  • 50 g Marzipan
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 3 tbsp Amaretto
  • 20 g Popped amaranth
  • 10 g Rice Krispies

for rolling:

  • Kaba powder or Kaba strawberry powder
  1. Knead the indicated ingredients well with your hands. Shape walnut-sized balls. This is best done with damp hands. Then roll in Kaba powder or strawberry powder. Store the fruit balls in the refrigerator. They last about 3 weeks.
  2. The popped amaranth and rice krispies can also be omitted. But then only use 2 tablespoons of amaretto, otherwise the mixture will be too moist. The fig paste can be bought ready-made. Alternatively, you can shred dried soft figs in the food processor.
