Ingredients
 

  • 3 Eggs
  • 2 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 180 g Sugar
  • 150 ml Sunflower oil
  • 150 ml Milk
  • 1 shot Rum
  • 3 tsp Baking powder
  • 250 g Flour
  • 3 tbsp Cocoa powder

for the cast:

  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 120 ml Milk

for the glaze:

  • 100 g Dark chocolate
  • 25 g Butter
  • 3 tbsp Milk

Instructions
 

  • Mix the eggs, vanilla sugar and sugar with the hand mixer on the highest setting until foamy. Stir in the oil and milk. Mix the flour, baking powder and cocoa powder and stir in briefly on a low level. Finally add a generous sip of rum.
  • Pour the dough onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper (30 x 40 cm) and smooth it out. Bake on the middle rack in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes.
  • Bring the milk and sugar to the boil for the topping and distribute on the hot cake immediately after baking. Let cool down.
  • For the glaze, melt the butter, milk and chocolate in a saucepan over a low temperature. Spread on the cake and let cool.
