Fig and mozzarella salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g mozzarella (buffalo mozzarella)
  • 6 figs
  • 12 slices of Parma ham
  • 8 grissini sticks
  • 2 tbsp pine nuts
  • some thyme, some fresh branches
  • 80 ml olive oil
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp honey (acacia honey)
  • 2 tbsp orange juice
  • some salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Drain the mozzarella and slice. Grate the figs, remove the stems, and quarter them. Roast the pine nuts in a nonstick pan without oil. Arrange the mozzarella, figs, and ham with the grissini decoratively on plates. Mix the dressing ingredients, season to taste, drizzle over the salad ingredients, and serve garnished with pine nuts and thyme sprigs.
