Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 375 g flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp baking powder
  • 200 g fig(s), dried, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 300 ml milk
  • 5 tbsp butter, melted

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Grease muffin tins. Preheat oven to 230°C (450°F). Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and figs in a bowl. Beat the egg until thick and pale yellow. Add the milk and butter. Mix everything together, taking care not to overmix. Pour batter into the muffin tins. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
