Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 figs, fresh
- 150 g Parma ham
- 1 piece(s) mozzarella, preferably buffalo
- Basil, preferably red+green
- 3 tbsp oil (olive oil)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp honey
- Sea salt
- pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Make a cross-shaped cut at the stem of fresh figs and press the base together with your thumb and index finger to open the fruit. Place the figs on a platter and arrange the Parma ham around them. Then scatter the mozzarella in small pieces over the top. Sprinkle with basil leaves. Drizzle the dressing over the figs, ensuring as much of it as possible gets into the figs. Serve with fresh bread, and use it to mop up the remaining dressing at the end!
