Ham and mozzarella platter

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125g mozzarella
  • 100 g raw ham, e.g. Parma
  • 50 g arugula
  • 4 tsp olive oil
  • 5 cocktail tomatoes
  • e.g. Parmesan, freshly grated
  • e.g. balsamic vinegar cream, or vinegar
  • salt and pepper

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 minutes; Total time approx. 19 minutes

As a starter for 2, as a main course for 1 person

Drain the mozzarella and cut lengthwise into four to five slices, then tightly wrap a slice of ham around each one. Clean the arugula and tomatoes, then quarter the tomatoes and arrange both ingredients on a plate. Drizzle the olive oil over the salad and season with salt and pepper. Gently heat the ham and mozzarella wraps in an oven preheated to 150°C for about 4 minutes. The mozzarella should be soft but not melt. Arrange the wraps on the plate and garnish with balsamic vinegar and Parmesan cheese, if desired. Serve with Italian white bread (ciabatta).
