Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g veal fillet(s) or pork
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp Tabasco
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup mushrooms, fresh
  • 1 cup cream or crème fraîche
  • 2 tbsp cream of coconut
  • some salt and pepper
  • cardamom
  • oregano

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Rub the fillet with salt, pepper, cardamom, and oregano. Then heat the butter in a pan and sear the meat. Stir the drained mushrooms into the cream and add both. Finally, stir in the coconut cream. Cover and simmer over low heat for about 25-30 minutes. Before serving, season the dish with curry, Tabasco, and cayenne pepper. Serve with curry rice.
