Fillet of Beef with Broccoli

Ingredients
 

For the marinade:

  • 1 piece Ginger approx. 10 g
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Sweet soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Sherry
  • 4 tbsp Water
  • 1 tsp Brown sugar

For the fillet of beef with broccoli:

  • 200 g Beef fillet
  • 1 Onion approx. 100 g
  • 500 g Broccoli (cleaned 300 g)
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 2 big pinches of salt
  • 2 big pinches of pepper

To serve:

  • 1 tomato + 2 parsley leaves

Instructions
 

For the marinade:

  • Peel and finely dice ginger and clove of garlic. Mix all ingredients (diced ginger, diced garlic cloves, soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, sherry, water and brown sugar) for the marinade.

For the fillet of beef with broccoli:

  • Cut the beef fillet into strips and mix well with the marinade. Leave to marinate in the refrigerator for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Clean the broccoli, cut into small florets, wash and drain well. Peel and quarter the onion and cut into wedges. Heat oil (1 tbsp) in a wok and stir-fry the beef fillet strips, drained well, and slide them to the edge of the wok. Add the onion wedges and stir-fry and mix with the meat. Add the broccoli florets, pour on the marinade and stir-fry everything for about 7 - 8 minutes. Season with salt (2 big pinches) and pepper (2 big pinches) and serve with half a tomato.
