Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 avocados, ripe
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 cups of crème fraîche
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, freshly ground

Perfect as a creamy sauce for fajitas or as a dip for Mexican dishes

Cut the avocados open, twist out the pit with a knife, scoop out the flesh with a spoon, and place it in a bowl. Press the garlic into the bowl or add it finely chopped. Add the crème fraîche and lemon juice and blend everything with a hand blender until no lumps remain. Season generously with salt and freshly ground pepper; add a little more lemon juice, if desired. We serve this delicious cream with Mexican fajitas; it’s the perfect addition to tortilla wraps. Or if you’re in a hurry, we love to eat it with Mexican express rice with nachos and salsa. Simply delicious.
