Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 375 g butter
  • 190 g sugar
  • 5 egg yolks
  • 500 g flour, sifted
  • 1 egg yolk

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

From Grandma’s cookbook from 1923

Cream the butter until fluffy. Add the sugar and egg yolk. Beat for 15 minutes. Add the sifted flour and let it harden in the refrigerator. Roll out to a thickness of 0.5 cm. Cut out cookies and brush with the egg yolk. Bake at 170 degrees Celsius for about 5-8 minutes until golden brown.
