Baked potatoes

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 8 large potatoes, floury, well brushed
  • 8 tsp oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Tear 8 squares of aluminum foil to wrap the potatoes in and brush with oil. Pierce the potatoes several times all over, season with salt and pepper, and roll them tightly in the foil. Cook in a preheated oven on the middle rack for approximately 50-60 minutes at 220°C, Gas Mark 3 or 200°C fan oven, or over the embers on a charcoal grill.
