Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 150 g butter
  • 200 g butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 1 lemon(s), the peel
  • 750 g quark
  • 200 g cream
  • 45 g cornstarch
  • 6 egg whites

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Make a shortcrust pastry from flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla sugar, egg yolks, and butter and chill. Line a springform pan with the pastry and pull up the sides. Mix 200g butter with the sugar, egg yolks, and lemon zest. First, stir in the quark, then the cream and cornstarch. Beat the egg whites until stiff, fold in, and pour the mixture into the pan and smooth it down. Bake at 160°C for about 80 minutes.
