Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g game meat, e.g. wild boar or young boar loin
  • 50 g bacon, streaky
  • 200 g onion(s)
  • 500 g chanterelles, fresh
  • 400 g potatoes
  • 200 g carrot(s)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper, white
  • 250 ml broth

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 35 minutes

Cut the meat into fairly small cubes. Finely dice the onions. Clean the mushrooms and halve them if necessary. Slice the potatoes and carrots. Brown the bacon cubes in butter, add the meat and onions, and fry them vigorously, stirring occasionally. Add the remaining ingredients, mix, and season. Pour the meat broth over the meat and cook for about 1 hour.
