Fine semolina dumplings

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 ml milk
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 100 g semolina (durum wheat semolina)
  • 2 eggs
  • n. B. Nutmeg, grated
  • n. B. broth

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

simple, quick and very tasty!

Bring the milk to a boil with butter and salt, then add the semolina. Stir until the mixture starts to separate from the bottom of the pan. Remove the pan from the heat and stir the first egg into the still-hot porridge. Let it cool for about 5 minutes. Then stir in the second egg. Season with nutmeg, if desired. Using two wet teaspoons, scoop out small dumplings from the porridge. Let them simmer in the broth for about 10 minutes.
