Fine veal meatballs

Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 350 g minced veal
  • ½ onion(s)
  • ½ roll from the day before
  • 2 tbsp oat flakes, wholegrain
  • 1 egg(s), size M
  • 1 tbsp parsley, dried
  • 1 dash of soy sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Finely dice the onion. Soften the half bread roll in lukewarm water. Place the minced veal (ask your butcher for this separately) in a bowl. Then add the finely diced onion, egg, squeezed-out bread roll, oatmeal, parsley, soy sauce, and seasonings, and mix everything thoroughly. This is best done with your hands. Let the meat mixture rest for about 10-15 minutes. With wet hands, form small meatballs. Heat a little oil in a non-stick pan, add the meatballs, and then fry them at medium heat for about 5 minutes on each side. These meatballs are pleasantly light and mild. Children love them.
