Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

with vegetables and ham

Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente and drain. Brush a baking dish with a little margarine, butter or oil. Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Wash the bell peppers and cut into small cubes, as well as the broccoli. Pre-cook the broccoli in a separate pot, as it needs a little longer. Also chop the tomatoes and, if desired, remove the skins beforehand using hot steam. Also cut the ham into small cubes. First, heat a little butter in a pot. When the fat is hot, cook the bell peppers, broccoli, tomatoes and ham briefly. Reduce the heat. Deglaze with cream and milk. Stir in the cream cheese. Season with salt, pepper and chili. Then, if desired, add one or two slices of sliced cheese to give the sauce a thicker, creamier consistency. But be careful: the cheese will infuse in the oven, and too much sliced cheese can make it too dry. Now add the sauce and pasta to the casserole dish, sprinkle with some cheese if desired, and bake in the oven for about 15 minutes.
