Finger Food: Lentil Meatballs

The perfect finger food: lentil meatballs recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 300 g Lentils red
  • 300 g Bulgur fine
  • 2 Spring onions fresh
  • 2 Bell peppers (red, yellow, green)
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp Hot pepper paste
  • Salt and pepper
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  1. Wash the lentils and boil them with 1/2 liter of water for about 15 minutes, then add the bulgur and let it steep.
  2. Chop the onion and bell pepper, fry in oil, then add the paprika powder and paste. Season with salt and pepper and add the lentil-bulgur mixture, season to taste and let cool.
  3. Add some olive oil, shape small oval meatballs with wet hands and enjoy with lemon and a leaf of lettuce (iceberg).
