Fish Ragout in Herb-mustard Sauce
The perfect fish ragout in herb-mustard sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Cod fillet
- 3 tbsp Butter
- 3 tbsp Flour
- 400 ml Vegetable broth
- 1 a cup Cream
- 1 tbsp 8 Kräuter TK
- 1 tbsp Mustard
- Salt
- Pepper
- Cut the fish fillets into small pieces, season with salt and pepper and sauté briefly in the butter on both sides, remove and set aside.
- Now stir the flour in the hot butter or fish stock until foamy, deglaze with the vegetable stock and cream, add the herbs and mustard, simmer for about 3 minutes while stirring, season with salt and pepper, add the fish to the sauce and let it steep in a closed pot for approx. 5-10 min.
- Serve the fish ragout with boiled potatoes.
