Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g fish fillet(s) (e.g. pollock, redfish)
  • Mustard (approx. 1/2 tube)
  • Tomato paste (approx. 1/2 tube)
  • 2 gherkins
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • lemon juice
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Wash the fish fillet, season with salt, and add mustard. Brush one side with mustard and the other with tomato paste. Layer the fillet pieces in a greased casserole dish, with the mustard-coated side on top of the tomato paste. Place the sliced ​​gherkins in between. Finish with small knobs of butter. Cook the casserole on the oven rack in the middle of the oven at 200°C for about 20-30 minutes. Potatoes go best with this dish. Sounds bizarre, tastes fantastic!
