Fish with spicy vegetables à la Gabi

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g fish fillet(s)
  • 500 g mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, asparagus etc.) from the can
  • 2 shallots
  • 1 jar white wine
  • salt and pepper
  • Cayenne pepper
  • pepper
  • garlic powder
  • 1 pinch(s) of Fondor, or Aromat
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 lemon(s), the juice
  • 1 bunch parsley, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Lightly salt the fish fillet strips and season with lemon juice. Heat the butter and sauté the fish strips on all sides. Remove with a slotted spoon and keep warm. Sauté the shallots in the pan juices with more butter until translucent. Drain the mixed vegetables and add them. Season with spices and pour in the white wine. Once the vegetables are thoroughly cooked, place the fish strips on top and serve the dish in the pan. Sprinkle generously with parsley. Serve with red rice.
