Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 100 g spelt flour (wholemeal)
- 400 g wheat flour, type 405
- 50 g carrot(s)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 pinch(s) of sugar
- 40 g oil
- 1 cube of yeast
- Natural yogurt
- Grains as desired
- 240 g water, lukewarm
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes
Combine whole-wheat and white flour in a bowl. Make a well in the bowl and fill it with the water. Crumble in the yeast and sprinkle with sugar. Let stand for about five minutes. Then finely grate the carrot and add it to the yeast and flour mixture. Add salt and oil and knead the dough well. Cover and let rise in a warm place for about an hour. Divide the dough into two portions and shape each half into a baguette on the baking sheet. Brush with a little natural yogurt, sprinkle with seeds, and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 25 minutes.
