Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 4 m.-sized eggs
- 5 tbsp sugar
- 8 g vanilla sugar
- 100 ml lemonade (lemon-lime)
- 12 tbsp wheat flour type 1050
- 5 g baking powder
- 40 g butter
- 2 apples
- 12 cl Calvados
- some sunflower oil
- 5 tsp powdered sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes
Beat the eggs with sugar, vanilla sugar, and a little lemonade until frothy. Alternately add the flour, baking powder, butter, and lemonade. Let the batter rest in the refrigerator for 20 minutes. In the meantime, wash, quarter, and grate the apples and add 2 cl of Calvados. Fold the grated apples into the batter. Heat a waffle iron and brush with oil. Pour a ladle of batter into the waffle iron and bake a waffle, then remove from the iron. Repeat this process until all the batter is used up. Dust the waffles with powdered sugar. To serve, pour 2 cl of Calvados over the waffle, light it, and serve blazing.
