Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 can peach(s), yellow, halved fruits
- 60 g butter
- 1 pkt. flavoring , (Orange-Back) or zest of 1 grated orange
- 4 tbsp orange juice or multivitamin juice
- 1 tbsp sugar
- Cointreau, for flambéing
- 1 pkt. pistachios, chopped for sprinkling
- ⅛ liter cream, sweet
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Melt the butter over low heat and stir in the sugar, orange zest, and orange juice. Gently heat the peach halves in the orange butter. When the sauce begins to caramelize, flambé it with the Cointreau. Serve on warmed plates with the sauce. Serve with the unwhipped (liquid) cream and pistachios.
